I am able to connect 3 monitors to this docking station easily. This is extremely portable and has a super small footprint. I appreciate that the item comes with two additional USB-C to USB-C cables. It also comes with an extra VGA port. It would be nice to see perhaps DVI or DisplayPorts but this is definitely great on its own. I might need to buy another one for my home office!Ramesh Swamy from the US on September 30, 2020WFH for my spouse got extended till the middle of next year and we kinda managed with a mess of cables from the laptop. She didn’t like all that clutter & wanted a docking station. the earlier laptop had one but the new one she got didn’t.So I was looking for one that does multi-monitor, with USB Ports and most importantly works of USB-C so that I don’t have to connect too many cables. This Choetech docking station fits the bill. Since I have bought other products from the earlier, I wasn’t too worried about their build quality.I got it and plugged in the power supply. I plugged the USB-C cable & attached the other cables to the docking station and fire it up. Nothing… I was thinking what did I do wrong. Then it dawned on install THE USB-C DRIVER that enables the USB-C Port to act as a docking port. Dell has a special driver for it.I installed it and lo and behold it worked flawlessly another important thing. If you want multi-monitor support & have only 1 USB-C Port, make sure you use the Host 2 USB C port. The ethernet, VGA & HDMI worked great. It’s very handy as it has 2 USB 3.0 Ports on the front also a headphone jack.Overall, an excellent compact USB-C Docking Station. We from the US on October 3, 2020I was looking to a dock that could handle 2 other monitors for the MacBook I use for work. I saw this one and thought I’d always had luck with choetech so I figured I’ll give them a try. Getting everything to run was pretty simple and didn’t require any special software. The dock is small but has a ton of ports, which is really handy. The 100w PD is nice to keep the laptop powered. You’re able to divert the auto through the dock – it showed up on the mac as USB PNP audio device. The dock comes with 2 USB-c cords and a plug for the dock. I’m able to have 3 monitors displaying now so I have as much screen space and I need. The only downside I have for this is each monitor needs to have its own USB-c cord (i.e. host 1 and host 2 for each of the monitors). I was hoping for all displays to be powered and run through the dock and only require 1 plug into my laptop. Aside from that minor quirk, this dock is able to give me what I’m looking for. If you’re looking for a 2nd external display and don’t want to break the bank, this is definitely a nice option. **Edit After tinkering with it for a bit there are a few things I just wanted to point out. Use the USB-c PD port is for the external power, for me, I connect the Apple charger to this. Host 2 will be charging the laptop so if you only have 1 monitor, I would recommend using the HDMI 2 port so you only have 1 wire connected to your laptop while it’s being charged.Westy from UPDATE 11/20/20:The hub still works great, but I wanted to add some notes. 1) You can’t connect it to just any USB-C port if you want to be able to use the HDMI ports, it has to be a USB 3.1 gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 port. Also, connecting the Host 1 USB-C port lets you use HDMI 1, and connecting the Host 2 USB-C port lets you use all the other ports on the hub.Nic from the US on October 26, 2020I have a desk set up where I’m constantly swapping between my personal laptop, work laptop, and gaming desktop, and this hub is the perfect solution for connecting to any of them with just one cable. I connect my keyboard, mouse, headset, and monitor to this hub, and run one of the included USB-C cables to whichever computer I need to use. I’ve been blown away at how sleek this is and how well it works. Usually, I get heat and HDMI issues with USB-C hubs I’ve used from other brands in the past, but this one handles it all with ease!Humes from the US on October 20, 2020Now that I work from home, I have a two-monitor setup that is compatible with my Windows laptop. I wanted to enjoy the same setup with my Chromebook (Samsung Chromebook V2). My previous mount only had one HDMI port for an extended monitor. Choetech’s 15 in 1 dock has officially solved all of my problems. I can now run both monitors off my Chromebook via HDMI. My USB keyboard worked with no issues and I’m confident that this thing will handle everything else that the instructions say it can!
